the MAC Outreach programme changes lives

Suffolk’s Most Active County Outreach programme supported individuals who were inactive (doing less than 30 minutes exercise per week) and provided them with an opportunity to get active through progressive programmes of training and support, with the goal of taking part in a mass participation event.

The programme was delivered between 22 June and 19 September 2021, during which time the participants received weekly coaching sessions with experienced run coaches and double Olympic long distance runner Paul Evans.

The participants also received online support and advice throughout the programme, with access to a range of support services including sports injury, physiotherapy, nutrition advice, gait analysis and discounts on running equipment.
