Blossom charity course

The blossom charity has been appointed community partner of the Women’s Tour for Suffolk. They will be joining the tour and offering free 90-minute workshops to help people who have been impacted by the last 18 months. The workshops are to help build confidence.

The workshops will be run by Bridget McIntyre, the founder of the blossom charity, and Susie Donaldson the Head of Programme Development. They have developed a workshop which looks at what’s been happening and helps people “reset their factory settings,” helping them find their feet in the current circumstances. The plan is to look back at the last 18 months – understand what’s been happening and importantly offer a practical toolbox to help them plan and regain confidence.

Susie Donaldson explains “We’ve all been impacted in different ways over the last 18 months. We think it’s important to review what’s been happening and create plans that help us move forward and make any changes that would like to make. We hope that those who come along can find some very practical support in our time together. It’s a great way to get to know our work and to decide if what we do might be helpful for you over the longer term. We run year-long programmes and this would allow people to consider whether what we offer would help them. “

There will be two free workshops on Saturday 9th October – one in Stowmarket (at 9am at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre) and one in Felixstowe (at 12pm at the Leisure Centre). To book your place please contact [email protected]

The blossom charity was the community partner for the women’s tour two years ago and travelled across the UK offering training during the week-long tour, working with 100’s of women. It is the perfect partnership. The women cyclists are using their strengths and show enormous resilience and commitment. These are qualities that the blossom charity believes we all need to live our best lives.

The blossom charity aims to help women and men be the best they can. The charity offers coaching courses that aim to make a positive difference to all aspects of life, from understanding who you are and what motivates you, through to how to make the best of the resources you have. These courses, funded by the charity, are designed to help people find their confidence and make the changes in their life that they would like to achieve their goals.
