Alex, together with her husband Justin, is taking part in the NHS Couch to 5K programme, as part of Keep Moving Suffolk. Couch to 5K is designed to help beginners gradually work up towards running 5K in just nine weeks.

Alex and Justin have two boys, James, five, and Jacob, nine and they live near Ipswich Hospital. Alex battled with an eating disorder as a teenager and she is a strong believer in the power of exercise and activity.
