We’re proud to see one of our campaign champions, Bridget Goldstone, pictured above, featured in today’s East Anglian Daily Times (30 April).
Bridget, from Brockley, received a kidney transplant in 1991 and went on to represent Team GB at three World Transplant Games.
Now classed as being at high risk during the coronavirus crisis, she is confined to her home for three months but is hoping to inspire others through her work with the Keep Suffolk Moving campaign.
Bridget and her husband Baz, have been a massive inspiration to many local runners with their involvement in the Great East Run Outreach programmes, and we’re extremely pleased to have both on-board with Keep Moving Suffolk.
Bridget said, “Being used to exercising in large groups I’m going to find the next months challenging, but by supporting Keep Moving Suffolk I hope to inspire others to join me in a fitter, healthier and happier lifestyle.”
